Hey Music Fan,
Jon from 28 North at your service! I love turning people on to new music. Being the avid music consumer that I am, I feel compelled to share what has been filling my ear drums over the past year or so. Here we go!

Produced by Q-tip himself, the renaissance is a breath of fresh air into a industry filled with "Ring - Tone Rappers". Q- tip's ever conscious lyricism is complemented by several special guests; including D'Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, & Norah Jones. Guranteed to make your head bob.
Marco Benevento - Invisible Baby
For his solo debut, Benevento enlists the help of bassist Reed Mathis and drummers Andrew Barr & Matt Chamberlain. This record would be the perfect accompaniment to a film; ambient & atmospheric, contemplative & reflective, upbeat & engrossing. Make Invisible Baby the soundtrack to your next road trip.

Glorious use of synthesizers combined with memorable melodies/songwriting makes for high replay value. PLUS, they pull it off live! (God Bless em') Check out "Ready for the floor"

You already know the hits, but obscure tracks like "Working Day & Night" are worth giving Off the Wall and second listen. Take note of the inventive percussion parts, as well as the awesome 80's slap bass sounds. Get on the floor and dance!
